In 2002 and 2003, the small group trainers honed their teaching strategies and strengthened their network, while continuing to spread the valuable AIDS information. Utilizing a monthly newsletter and regular deanery meetings, they identified their own "best practices" and successful teaching techniques. The passion, talent, and success that TEAM's trainers exhibited in reaching people in even the most remote communities then caught the attention of the provincial heads of the Anglican Church of Tanzania (ACT).
