TEAM's work in 2005 continued to focus on providing training such that effective Christian community-based HIV/AIDS responses would rise up in the areas of Tanzania that need them most. This year we further developed our curriculum to support the training of small groups from the parishes, so that with the education they provide whole regions can be trained in AIDS prevention as well as learning to cope with the massive challenge of caring for the affected.

In 2005 our partner diocese grew to include the Diocese of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the Diocese of Morogoro, and the emerging diocese of Southern Kilimanjaro. Having accomplished the first of the three workshop series in these three regions, we are eager to return at the beginning of 2006 to see what the groups have accomplished.
