Workshop TwoWorkshop Two takes place 6-9 months after Workshop One. This workshop provides an opportunity for the delegate to discern and commit more fully to what God is calling him or her to do individually and as members of a grassroots Christian movement. Delegates examine biblical servant leadership and learn how to effectively work within existing church structures and with local governmental and non-governmental organizations. They examine ways in which HIV/AIDS is related to or is causing conflict and injustice within their communities. They learn conflict resolution techniques that will enable them to act as advocates and resources for those suffering from injustice, stigmatization, or other related conflicts. Delegates how to participate in home-based care and how to develop ministries for widows, orphans, street-youth, the sick and the dying. They create effective dramas and songs as educational tools to address HIV/AIDS. They design Parish-level and Deanery-level action plans to equip their communities to respond to AIDS utilizing small group best practices. Delegates also prepare a strategic plan for their own personal development, fellowship and encouragement.
